Dick Ep.15

After a much-deserved shower and getting dressed it was time to meet up with Bisi, they were going to a spot called Bourbon, which wasn't too far from his apartment. As he waited for his Lyft Richard began to once again think about the man that darted out of the alley, "was that really Chris?" he thought to himself. Richard knew Chris to be somewhat of a "lame" as Lisa affectionately called him after her third tequila shot, there was no way that he would have the balls to be snooping around Richard's place and as a matter of fact "he doesn't event know where I live" Richard whispered as his ride pulled up. Shaking off the silly notion of being stalked by Lisa's "lame" boyfriend Richard once again turned his thoughts to the evening ahead. Bisi and Richard had, had some brief history once upon a time but they could never make the relationship stick. Richard was definitely attracted her, she had these wonderful lips that begged to be kissed and though her frame was slim she still had curves, a "slim goodie" was what he jokingly categorized her as. As his mind slipped back into the memories of the last time he had the pleasure of enjoying those soft lips he was interrupted by the vibrating of his phone "I'm here, got us a table upstairs by the bar" it was Bisi and he couldn't wait to see her. Exiting the Lyft Richard saw that the D.C. streets were alive on this beautiful Friday evening, D.C. was a town where people were going to go out no matter what but when the weather was right it seamed like the whole city would come out to play. Bourbon was packed when he walked in, every table was full of patrons laughing and drinking, you could barely hear the music over the sea of conversation. As Richard waded through the crowd in an effort to make it to the steps he thought he heard his name being called "RICHARD!" the voice screamed over the music and dialog. When he turned he was surprised to see Lisa and Chris sitting in a corner booth, she was all smiles as he finally recognized her cries and made his way over. "How are you two cool kids doing tonight?" Richard asked as he gave Lisa a hug; in an effort to conceal any notion of what had transpired the night before Richard went in for the customary "church hug" with hips purposefully pushed back and one arm posted by his side. Lisa on the other hand came in with a full embrace, pelvis pressed firmly to his and a double arm wrap. Richard didn't know if she had been drinking, lost herself in the moment, or just didn't care but this was no play it low hug, this was I haven't seen you in ages and my ovaries miss you type of embrace. Richard couldn't help but to get a little caught up in the moment, Lisa smelled heavenly, that dewy, rain soaked morning scent was intoxicating and with her bulging breasts firmly pressed against his chest he was transported back to the scene of him waking up in her bed after a night of pure bliss. After what felt like minutes the two finally separated and Richard extended a hand shake to Chris who was standing at that point, no doubt thinking "what the fuck is going on here". Chris played it off well and with a smile on his face said "you must be buying the next round to receive that kind of welcome", Richard gave a chuckle and responded "shots?” Chris not being a big drinker just shook his head, grabbed his glass of red wine and said "oh no, I'll stick with what I know". "So Richard what are you doing here tonight?" Lisa blurted out as she too sat down and grabber her glass, "I'm meeting Bisi, she's holding down a table for us upstairs" Richard answered. "Oh" Lisa replied as she went to sip her wine, Richard knew exactly what the "Oh" meant, he had heard it before, that "Oh" was female morse code for "you know you just fucked up right". Richard chuckled at the sight of Lisa getting in her feeling right in front of her man, she always touted herself as the chick that didn't act like "all these other females" and for the most part she was right. Sex has a way of changing things though, you can have whatever intention or plan you want but when it happens in the way it happened between the two them it becomes hard not to let the emotion of that moment infiltrate your level of normalcy. Still standing there with a slight smirk on his face Richard turned his attention to Chris, he still didn't know if that was him darting out of the alley and the way Chris was interacting didn't provide him with any evidence for confirmation. "So Chris, how was your trip?" at that moment you could feel the energy at the table shift. Hearing the question Chris's facial expression soured, before he answered he glared at Lisa with a look of confusion and intrigue, Chris slowly placed his glass on the table, looked up at Richard and responded, "My trip was fine but how did you know about it?"
