Dick Ep.16

As soon as the words left his mouth Richard knew he had fucked up, he made the mistake of assuming Lisa had told Chris about the crew hanging out that night, he also made the mistake of letting his curiosity about the man that darted out of the alley get the best of him but what he didn't make the mistake of doing is not being quick on his feet... "Oh, I texted Lisa yesterday to see what her and the girls had going on, on a Thursday night and she told me she was laying low because you were out of town on business." The words flowed from Richard's lips as if they were the gospel; he always had a great talent for making up a story that was less than truthful sound true. As Chris drawled on about the unimportant details of his trip Richard couldn't help but to glance over at Lisa, her facial expression was a mixture of fear, laughter, and pride over how he flawlessly handled what could have been such a terrible situation. Chris seemed to be totally oblivious as to what had gone on and what was currently being played out right in front of his face, it really wasn't his fault it's not like this was a continuous thing and he knew about Lisa and Richard's friendship. Almost forgetting about why he came to Bourbon in the first place Richard's attention was grabbed by the sight of Bisi walking down the steps, he had been gabbing with the happy couple for far too long and she came down to look for him. "Bisi" Richard hollered over the crowd, she turned with a smile and made her way to the table, "hey y'all this is Bisi and Bisi this is my friend Lisa and her boyfriend Chris". Bisi smiled and extended her hand to greet Lisa and she responded with a cheeky wave, Lisa could be such a dick sometimes and she was seriously territorial. Chris on the other hand was quick to accept Bisi's greeting and proceeded to make small talk about how her and Richard knew each other. As the two of them went back and forth with small talk Richard could feel the heat from Lisa's stare peering over the rim of her wine glass, she was clutching it with what could only be described as a death grip. Richard had seen Lisa become a little feisty during some of their drunken nights but he had never seen her jealous, now if you asked her if she was jealous she would never admit it but that's exactly what she was. Given the fact that she didn't know enough about Bisi to make an honest judgment it gave her room to let her mind create the perfect scenario to piss herself off. Lisa knew about Richard's revolving door of quasi girlfriends and that didn't bother her at all but what did bother her was the fact that not 24 hours after he had passionately entered her body, making her reach heights that outside of porn she thought was impossible she knew the odds were that he would be doing the same with Bisi by the end of the night. She was not pleased and she made Richard quite aware of it, she didn't risk letting Chris know but she made damn sure that Richard got the point. After making a smooth exit from the Lisa and Chris show Bisi and Richard finally sat down to their table to begin their night. The two of them hadn't hung out in a long time and it was good to see an old friend that knew how to have a good time without any strings attached, they had tried the catching feelings thing once or twice before and leaving them out just always worked much better. "Two shots of chilled tequila please" Bisi knew exactly how to get the party started, Richard smiled and she shot him a wink in return knowing that this was only the beginning of what was going to be a wild night.
