Multiple CHOICE

If you have read my blog, you probably have come to realize that I am infatuated with LIFE.  I love it; I love the ups the downs, the wins and the losses.  This thing we call LIFE is the greatest journey you will ever embark on and each day offers the opportunity to fail or succeed at whatever you choose. What a grand proposition that is, to have the ability and the canvas to create your tomorrow and control your now.  Nothing in this life is beyond your control or influence, we are not just leaves blowing in the wind, suffering or surviving by pure happenstance and luck.  No, we are the masters of our destiny and controllers of our surroundings.

I believe in the power of choice... A very simple notion that holds unlimited power when executed.  When we take a step back and look at all that is happening around us and to us, we see that the common factor in every situation is how one chooses to react to the stimuli. Our reaction to what is happening is a choice and once you learn how to embrace that moment of decision there is nothing in this world that can detour you from your goal.

I have adopted a saying "I don’t worry and I don’t whine"; this creed that I have drilled in my brain allows me to have perspective in any situation.  I am no longer burdened by life's peaks and valleys; I try very hard not to let the grind of each day affect my overall outlook or attitude.  I make my decisions based on value and not circumstance, I try to live a life free of consequence because I have learned that your path is "yours" and whether I choose to go left or right is totally up to me.  In choosing a direction I have just continued my life's journey.  Sure there are going to be bumps in the road, both good days and bad but I don’t worry about tomorrow and I don’t whine about today.  Instead I choose to live and move forward; knowing that with each step taken it will only bring me closer to where I was meant to be.

"Don't let your today's kill the promise of your tomorrow's"
